PAVE Mobility Chairman Fred Bredemeyer Elected to National Parking Association Board of Directors

From valet attendant to national board: longtime NPA member brings four decades of public- and private-sector parking leadership to the association’s board

DANIA BEACH, Fla., October 1, 2026 – PAVE Mobility, a parking compliance company, today announced that its chairman and co-founder, Fred Bredemeyer, has been elected to the National Parking Association (NPA) Board of Directors. The election took place at the NPA Convention & Expo in Las Vegas, September 14–17, 2026, marking NPA’s 75th anniversary.

Bredemeyer began his career in the industry as a valet parking attendant in Chicago, eventually growing to lead operations across all facets of the industry. Named the International Parking Institute’s (now IPMI) 2008 Parking Professional of the Year, he brings decades of leadership experience spanning both municipal and private-sector environments.

Throughout his career, he has driven large-scale operational modernizations through the early adoption of automated revenue control, digital payments, and automated compliance solutions. In addition to leading major municipal and commercial operations across the country, he frequently consults with private equity and institutional investors on municipal and private asset valuations, mergers, and acquisitions.

A longtime advocate for parking industry standards, Bredemeyer has spoken publicly on how clear, consistent guidelines are central to building consumer trust. That includes his session at the 2025 Parking Industry Expo on focusing parking compliance on the few who don’t comply rather than the many who do. He joins the NPA board as the industry prioritizes parking technology and automation while navigating new, key questions surrounding artificial intelligence, according to NPA’s 2026 Parking Pulse Report.

“I started in this business as a valet parking attendant, and four decades later, I’m still learning from the people in it,” said Bredemeyer. “Every step of my career has been shaped by mentors, colleagues, and teams who defined my standard of operational excellence in parking. NPA has been part of my professional community for more than 30 years—serving on the board is my chance to give back. As technology reshapes how people park, I’m eager to help set standards that earn the public’s trust through NPA’s position papers and policy work.” Bredemeyer also recognized Rob Zuritsky for his outstanding leadership as NPA Chair, noting the industry is stronger for his service.

“Fred’s election is a proud moment at PAVE,” said Jeff Price, CEO of PAVE Mobility. “Fred has always encouraged the people around him. His decades of commitment to NPA and to this industry are exactly what a board seat calls for. We’re glad to see a parking compliance leader with such integrity at the table as the industry continues to evolve.”
